A fearless base jumper clung on for his life when he was stuck dangling off the highest building in Europe for nearly an hour.
The qualified jumper had been competing alongside keen athletes from across the world in the annual Probase World Tour, which kicked off in Istanbul.
There, they scaled the Sapphire Tower before jumping a terrifying 236 metres to the ground with only a parachute to break their fall.
Things weren’t so smooth sailing for this competitor, however, as his chute got stuck on the glass tower and left him dangling mid-air until rescuers arrived.
The video shows the nail-biting moment rescue teams try to reach the jumper, who was literally clinging onto the side of the building.
He was finally rescued 40 minutes later and brought down to safety on the ground.
