A female journalist helped Dubai’s police arrest an Arab man who turned out to be an experienced womaniser through Facebook by seducing him to come to a shopping mall where the cops were waiting, a newspaper reported on Thursday.
The woman had reported the unknown man to the police when she received messages on her Facebook page containing obscene pictures and offering massages and other services at his apartment.
After she was given instructions by the police, she responded to him and said she would like to see him at a shopping mall in the emirate.
“He then came with his laptop…when they met and started to discuss details of a new relationship, she gave the police the agreed signal…they swopped and arrested him,” the paper said, quoting Major General Khalil Ibrahim Al Mansouri, Dubai’s assistant police commander for criminal investigation.
