The Sri Lanka Standards Institution has taken steps to issue a standards certificate for small enterprises.

Director General of the Instituition, Dr. Lalith Jayaweera said that the certificate will be issues through the Vidatha Centre. He said that the aim of this move is to improve the  quality of  the their products.
