An individual who had kept three rare species of geckos in his possession, has been arrested in Embilipitiya.

The Police Media Spokespersons Unit stated, that based on a tip-off, the police had arrested the man while he had been carrying the geckos inside a bottle.

The police further stated, that the suspect is to be produced before the Embilipitiya Magistrate’s court on Friday.
