The Sri Lanka Transport Board states that a special bus service has been put in place for devotees who will be travelling to Adam’s Peak during this season of pilgrimage.
The Deputy Chairman of SLTB L.A. Wimalaratne noted that this service will be implemented together with the train services.
Wimalaratne speaking to Newsfirst also added that five buses will remain halted in Hatton and that devotees usually take the buses from Hatton Railway Station to cover the rest of the journey.
He added that devotees planning to travel from distant locations can reserve these services from Colombo and Kandy.
