A few samples of the human skeleton uncovered from Kuragala last year, have been taken to the University of Cambridge for further experiments following tests conducted by a professor attached to the university .

The Department of Archaeology said that over the last few days the tests were conducted in the Budugala area in Balangoda.

The department noted that experiments revealed vital information on the pre-historic man of Sri Lanka dating back 10,000 years including traces of its origin.
