SLTB and Railways Maintain Services as New Year Return Rush Approaches

COLOMBO (News 1st): The Sri Lanka Transport Board (SLTB) says that bus services will be operated based on passenger demand today.

Most areas are expected to see bus services running as per the usual schedule.

For those who traveled to their hometowns for the New Year, special bus services will be in operation from the 16th to the 21st of April to facilitate their return to Colombo.

Meanwhile, the special train service launched for the New Year season will continue to operate until the 19th of April to accommodate commuters returning from across the island.
