President Celebrates New Year At Government-Rebuilt Cyclone-Affected Home

COLOMBO (News 1st): President Anura Kumara Dissanayake joined New Year celebrations today at a newly rebuilt house under government compensation after it was destroyed by the Cyclone Ditwah.

The event was held in Malbeligala, Galnewa.

The President’s Media Division says that the President participated in New Year rituals at the newly constructed house together with local residents, and extended New Year greetings to all members of the public.
