COLOMBO (News 1st); The US Embassy in Sri Lanka has suggested alternate travel routes to its citizens flying back to the United States of America, citing limited operations in the Middle East.
Important to note here that there has been NO change to the existing Travel Advisory, last updated on 14th October, 2025.

This information has been issued by the Embassy to assist any US citizen in Sri Lanka who wishes to fly back home.
