Three-Year-Old Dies After Alleged Assault in Homagama

COLOMBO (News 1st): Police said, a three-year-old girl has tragically lost her life following an alleged assault in the Magammana area of Homagama.

According to investigators, the child’s mother and her partner are suspected to have carried out the assault.

Police say the mother has been taken into custody following the incident.

Authorities added that investigations are underway to arrest the mother’s partner, who is reportedly evading the police.
