Election Commission Launches Online Portal for 2026 Electoral Register Revision

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Election Commission has introduced online facilities for the 2026 electoral register revision, allowing citizens to add or remove names within their household directly through its official website.

Chairman of the Election Commission, R.M.A.L. Rathnayake, announced that this service is accessible via www.slelection.lk.

The Chairman further clarified that Grama Niladharis will not be distributing revision forms to households during this cycle.

The 2026 electoral register revision process commenced on the 1st of February.
