COLOMBO (News 1st); The Manthri.lk website reports that incumbent President Anura Kumara Dissanayake has fulfilled 10 out of his 30 key presidential election promises by November.
According to the latest update of the Anura Meter policy‑promise tracker on Manthri.lk, President Anura Kumara Dissanayake has completed 10 of his major 30 election promises by November 2025.
Another 10 promises are currently in progress, while 9 promises show no progress.
One promise has been marked as unsuccessful.
This assessment tracks 30 key promises included in the 2024 presidential election manifesto and incorporates information up to the 2026 Budget.
The analysis was completed prior to Cyclone Ditwah.
The promises monitored under the Anura Meter were selected based on their high public interest and national significance.
These commitments cover major policy areas such as economic reforms, governance, anti‑corruption efforts, law and order, and social protection.
