COLOMBO (News1st): The Sri Lankan Education Ministry has announced that all Grade 6 modules will be re-examined following a controversy surrounding an English language module.
Education Ministry Secretary Nalaka Kaluwewa stated that the decision to re-examine the modules was made after the issue with the English language module came to light.
The ministry has taken steps to ensure that the modules are thoroughly reviewed before being distributed to students.
Three investigations are currently underway regarding the controversy, including a probe by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID).
