COLOMBO (News 1st) - Sri Lanka’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment and Tourism Vijitha Herath met with US Under Secretary of State Allison Hooker for discussions on strengthening bilateral ties.
In a post shared on X, Minister Herath described the meeting as constructive, noting that the talks focused on enhancing cooperation and advancing shared priorities between the two countries.
The engagement took place on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York, where Sri Lanka continues to hold bilateral meetings with international partners.
