COLOMBO (News 1st): President Anura Kumara Dissanayake is scheduled to depart the island tomorrow night, for an official state visit to the United States.
According to President's Media Division, President Dissanayake will attend the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly during the visit.
The President is set to address the UN General Assembly at 3.15 p.m. U. U. S. time on Wednesday, September 24.
During the visit, President Dissanayake will hold bilateral discussions with the UN Secretary-General and several world leaders. He will also meet with the Sri Lankan community living in the United States.
Minister of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment, and Tourism Vijitha Herath, will accompany the President on this visit.
