Police Warn Of Circulation Of Counterfeit Currency

COLOMBO (News 1st): Sri Lanka Police have revealed that counterfeit currency notes are spreading widely among the public.
Police Media Spokesperson, Assistant Superintendent of Police, Attorney-at-Law, F. U. Wootler, says that the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) has detected the circulation of counterfeit currency, seizing 407 five-thousand-rupee notes so far this year.
