Ministry of Health Probes Statement by NHSL Deputy Director

COLOMBO (News 1st): The Ministry of Health has launched an investigation into a statement made by Dr. Rukshan Bellana, Deputy Director of the National Hospital of Sri Lanka, regarding former President Ranil Wickremesinghe.

The inquiry is being conducted by the Ministry’s Investigation Unit.

Meanwhile, Dr. Bellana was recently questioned by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) over a separate statement he had made concerning Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya.
