CPC Begin Employee Restructuring Process

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) and the Ceylon Petroleum Storage Terminals Ltd. (CPSTL) have begun a restructuring process aimed at maintaining a minimum number of employees.

According to the Managing Director of the CPC, Mayura Nettikumara, the number of employees will be reduced as employees retire and any layoffs will not be implemented.

The objective of the restructuring process is to reduce the current employee count of over 3,200 to 2,035.
