Train Cancellations and Delays on Coastal Line Today

COLOMBO (News 1st): The Railway Department has announced several train cancellations and schedule changes on the coastal route today, due to road repair work between the Dodanduwa and Boossa railway stations.

Railway General Manager Ravindra Padmapriya stated that the train scheduled to depart from Galle to Colombo Fort at 5.15 a.m. this morning was canceled.

The train scheduled to depart from Maradana to Galle at 12.10 p.m. has also been canceled.

In addition, the train scheduled to leave Galle for Colombo at 5.00 a.m. will operate with a delay of one and a half hours, while the train scheduled to depart from Galle to Colombo Fort at 4.10 a.m. will be delayed by 4 hours and 40 minutes.
