President Anura Kumara Dissanayake to Embark on Official Visit to Germany

COLOMBO (News 1st): President Anura Kumara Disanayake is scheduled to depart for Germany today, commencing a three-day official visit at the invitation of German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier.

During the visit, President Disanayake is expected to hold meetings with his German counterpart, senior ministers of the federal government, and other key officials.

Discussions are also set to focus on strengthening bilateral trade ties and exploring new economic partnerships between the two countries.

The President is additionally scheduled to meet with representatives from Germany’s tourism sector and travel industry associations to promote cooperation in those areas.

According to the President’s Media Division, Minister of Foreign Affairs Vijitha Herath and a delegation of senior government officials will accompany the President on this visit.
