CID Complaint Filed Over False Claims on President

COLOMBO (News 1st); The National People's Power (NPP) has lodged a formal complaint with the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) against Thusitha Halloluwa, the former Director of the National Lotteries Board and ex-Director General of Public Relations under former President Ranil Wickremesinghe.

This is over an allegedly false and defamatory statement made against President Anura Kumara Dissanayake.

The complaint was filed with the CID on Sunday (4).
