Showers to occur at times today (18)

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Meterorology Department states that showers will occur at times in Western, Sabaragamuwa and Southern Provinces and in Kandy, Nuwara Eliya Districts today (18).

Moreover, several spells of showers will also occur in North-western and Northern Provinces today.

Showers or thundershowers will occur at several places in Uva and Eastern Provinces and in Matale and Polonnaruwa Districts during the afternoon or night.

Accordingly, the general public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by temporary localized strong winds and lightning during thundershowers.
