Cabinet positive to launch Jaffna-Pondicherry boat service: Minister

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Minister of Fisheries, Douglas Devananda says that the Cabinet has responded positively to launch a boat service between Jaffna and Pondicherry in India.
The Minister said the Cabinet has also responded in a similar way to launch a flight connecting Palaly and India's town of Tiruchi.
He added that essential items like kerosene, diesel, fertilizer, milk powder, and medicines can be brought through these services.
