Railway fares for Reserved Seats increased

COLOMBO (News 1st); Railway fares for Reserved Seats have been increased from the effect from today (1).
The General Manager of the Railways Dhammika Jayasundara said that the fares for reserved seats for trains have been increased by 30%.
The General Manager of the Railways said that the fares had to be increased to minimize the losses incurred by the Department of Railways.
