Tamil Nadu CM discusses Sri Lanka with Modi, proposes to send relief

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, M.K. Stalin had discussed the economic condition of Sri Lanka with the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi.

Accordingly, Chief Minister M.K. Starlin has proposed to send relief materials including food and medicines from Tamil Nadu to Sri Lanka, ANI reports.

Sri Lanka recently obtained a sum of US $ 1 billion from India as a Credit Line to import essentials and fuel.
