Ragama medical faculty students injured in early morning attack

COLOMBO (News 1st); Four students of the Ragama Medical Faculty were injured following an assault by an outside group early on Wednesday (2).

Sri Lanka Police said three students were admitted to the Ragama Hospital and another was admitted to the Negombo Hospital.

The injured were all students who were at the Men's Dormitory of the Ragama University and were 4th-year students.

According to the students, 15 people arrived in two vehicles and carried out an assault.

Sri Lanka Police said one person was arrested and one vehicle was seized.
