COLOMBO (News 1st); The National Coalition for the Protection of Litro Gas filed a complaint with the CID on Saturday (18), noting that there is a conspiracy behind the gas explosions.

Nalin Samantha, the Chairman of the National Association for the Preservation of Litro Gas alleged that the authorities are creating undue fear of Litro Gas, by allowing imports of substandard gas. 

Further alleging that a strange ploy is underway as of currently, Samantha questioned why the top officials of the Ministry of Finance allow for a catastrophe to take place when all the cabinet papers were made by the Ministry of Finance, and the tender did was submitted with the knowledge of the Ministers in the Cabinet.

He also stated that there had been foul play behind the distribution of this gas by Government officials, and even warned the President of such officials.
