No aptitude tests for Uni admissions in the future: UGC Chairman

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Chairman of the University Grants Commission, Prof. Sampath Amaratunga says that a decision has been made not to conduct aptitude tests for University Admissions in the future.

He said this when the University Grants Commission was summoned before the Committee on Public Enterprises on Wednesday (08).

He added that 15 students had been given scholarships to pursue postgraduate studies, however they have incurred a large loss to the institution due to abandonment of the scholarships.
