COLOMBO (News 1st); The National Election Commission said that over 30,000 claims and objections have been received regarding the 2021 Electoral list.

The Commissioner General of Elections, Saman Sri Ratnayake stated that the appeals are being heard as of currently.

He added that these activities will be carried out under the supervision of the District Assistant and Deputy Commissioners of Elections.

The National Elections Commission said the 2021 Electoral list is scheduled to be certified on the 31st.
