Govt. can neither control the country nor the prices of goods: Tilvin

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Government has proven that it cannot control the country as well as the prices of goods, said Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (JVP) General Secretary, Tilvin Silva.

The JVP member said the government lifting the control prices of goods, paves the way for businessmen to increase the prices of goods as they please, adding more burden on the people.

Further, Tilvin Silva said people are now compelled to stand in line to make purchases due to the foreign exchange crisis experienced in the country.
