COLOMBO (News 1st); The game between Sri Lanka and South Korea in the 2026 Asian Rugby Championship has been cancelled.

Asia Rugby stated that the decision was taken due to visa-related issues.

The final game of the 2026 Asian Rugby Championship between Sri Lanka and South Korea had been scheduled to take place tomorrow in Incheon, South Korea.

Asia Rugby announced that the decision to cancel the match was made after it was confirmed that the Sri Lanka national team was unable to obtain the required travel visas to enter South Korea in time for the fixture.

The governing body further stated that, in coordination with Sri Lanka Rugby and the Korea Rugby Union, multiple options were explored to resolve the issue. However, due to the inability to complete the visa process within the required timeframe, the cancellation became unavoidable.
