Over 140,000 persons vaccinated yesterday

COLOMBO (News 1st): The Epidemiology Unit of the Ministry of Health states that more than 140,000 persons were vaccinated yesterday (13). Accordingly, 1,441,259 have obtained the first dose of the COVISHIELD-AstraZeneca vaccine while 893,024 have obtained the second dose, 10,731,466 persons have obtained the first dose of the Sinopharm vaccine while 8,737,393 have obtained the second dose, 159,089 persons have been inoculated with the first dose of the Sputnik V vaccine while 43,450 have obtained the second dose. Meanwhile, 448,735 persons have been inoculated with the first dose of the Pfizer vaccine while 240,954 persons were vaccinated with the second dose of the Pfizer vaccine, and 772,985 persons have been vaccinated with the first dose of Moderna while 757,806 have obtained the second dose. Vaccination continues at more than 220 vaccination centers island-wide today.
