COVID fatalities in Sri Lanka climbs to 545

Colombo (News 1st); The Director General of Health Services confirmed a death caused by Covid-19 virus infection on Saturday (20). Accordingly, the total number of deaths due to Covid-19 infection in Sri Lanka is 545.

The deceased was an 85 year old male resident from Buwelikada. He died on 14.03.2021 while undergoing treatments at a private hospital in Kandy. The cause of death is mentioned as Covid pneumonia.
