More institutions added to list permitting Work ID as Curfew Pass

Colombo (News 1st); Government and Private institutions classified in 107 categories will now be permitted to use their Official Employee ID as a curfew pass to report to work during the period of the Quarantine Curfew.

In addition, a special system is in place to issue curfew permits for delivery services, said DIG Ajith Rohana.
These permits will be issued for Supermarkets, Sathosa, Co-Operatives for delivery services, and 15 permits are issued per establishment.
In addition, food courts will be issued with 10 permits only.
Pharmacies will also be issued permits to perform the delivery of medicines following online purchases.
Permits can only be obtained from the Divisional Secretariats.
