INTERPOL RED NOTICE obtained on 14 wanted Sri Lankan criminals

Colombo (News 1st); Sri Lanka Police had obtained the INTERPOL RED NOTICE on 14 wanted criminals currently in-hiding overseas.
Acting Police Spokesperson SSP Ruwan Gunasekera speaking to reporters on Tuesday (01st September) said the Criminal Investigations Department obtained the RED NOTICEs over the past 02 months on the 14 criminals who are drug traffickers and members of organized crime syndicates wanted for homicides.
" The CID detectives are working towards securing the arrest of the suspects and producing them in Sri Lankan courts, " said the Acting Police Spokesperson.
He said the names and details of the people on whom the RED NOTICEs were obtained cannot be disclosed as the moment, as it could be an obstruction towards the ongoing investigations.
