Trial Election ahead of General Election held in Ambalangoda

The Trial Election ahead of the General Election was held with the participation of 239 voters in Ambalangoda. The practicality of health guidelines that should be followed while entering or leaving polling stations, had been examined during this exercise. This included 4 main steps... Step 1 : Wash your hands before entering the polling station. Step 2 : Remove your face mask to establish your identity after entering the polling station. Step 3 : Follow health directives while marking the fingers of voters. Step 4 : Wash both hands before leaving the polling station. Speaking at the Trial Election, the Chairman of the National Election Commission said that he cannot say that election dates will be announced for sure tomorrow. Adding further he said that the Trial Election was carried out with no major problems.
