Suspicious material of April 21st attacks suspect recovered

COLOMBO (News1st): Law enforcement officials have seized suspicious books and documents of a person arrested over last year's April 21st attacks. These materials were recovered from a training centre managed by the suspect in the country's North Western town of Madurankuliya, police said in a statement. The suspect, who was arrested based on the investigations of the Criminal Investigations Department, is to be produced before the Fort Magistrate's Court on Monday, the statement read. Last year's attacks which targeted six churches and hotels killed at least 259 people and left more than 500 injured.
