Yashodha Range Bandara's driving license suspended

Colombo (News 1st): The driving license of MP Palitha Range Bandara's son Yashodha Range Bandara has been suspended for six months when he was produced before Chilaw Chief Magistrate Manjula Ratnayake today (Feb 18). The Chief Magistrate sentenced him to six months imprisonment if he is not willing to pay a fine of Rs. 32,500. Yashodha Range Bandara had been charged with six counts relating to an accident that occurred on the 6th of June, 2018. He was charged with disorderly driving, not avoiding an accident, driving under the influence, injuring a person, damaging human life and property by careless and dangerous driving and possessing a sword.
