Rajitha Senaratne appears at CID to provide a statement

Colombo (News 1st): Former Minister Dr. Rajitha Senaratne appeared at the Criminal Investigations Department this afternoon (January 14) to provide a statement. The former Minister who was receiving treatment at a private hospital was discharged earlier today. Senarathna was admitted to the Cardiovascular unit of a private hospital in Narahenpita on the 26th of December last year. However, the manager of the private hospital said former minister Senarathna was discharged from the hospital following professional advice. Former Minister Rajitha Senarathna was arrested by the CID on an earlier occasion while receiving treatment at the private hospital and was granted bail by the court.
