SLPP symbol is more popular, we should consider that : S.B. Dissanayake

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Under what symbol will the current government contest the upcoming election? Some of the views that were expressed regarding the matter that is yet to be resolved. UPFA MP S.B Dissanayake stated that that the symbol of the SLPP is unique and it is more popular among the people. He added that therefore they will choose the symbol considering these facts. UPFA MP Mahinda Amaraweera in return stated that MP S.B Dissanayake is inclined to make such statements from time to time and they are irrelevant. He added that they would come into decisions after holdings discussions as a party and they will be contesting under the Sri Lanka Freedom People's Alliance. He went on to note that the alliance will be formed in the future and during the party leader's meeting we will hold discussions and decide the symbol.
