Modern Signal System on the Maho-Anuradhapura Railway to Complete in October

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The Department of Railways has announced that the modernization of the signal system from Maho to Anuradhapura is scheduled to be completed by October.

The project is being carried out with financial assistance from the Government of India.

The completion of this modern signal system will allow trains to operate at speeds of up to 100 km/h on the recently renovated Maho-Anuradhapura railway track.
