Sri Lanka Cricket President Shammi Silva Resigns With Immediate Effect

COLOMBO (News 1st); The President of Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC), Shammi Silva, has tendered his resignation from the post, effective today.

Along with Silva, the office bearers and members of the Executive Committee of Sri Lanka Cricket have also submitted their resignations.

The decision has been formally communicated to President Anura Kumara Dissanayake and the Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports, Sunil Kumara Gamage.
