Eight people arrested over treasure hunting

COLOMBO (News 1st):- Eight people have been arrested for treasure hunting in Madawalalanda, Damana and a sports ground in Bobella, Galkiriyagama in search of ancient artifacts. The police said that the suspects who are between the ages of 21 to 69 were arrested in Damana and Galkiriyagama. The suspects have been identified as residents of Thimbirigolla, Peradeniya, Wayikkala, Galkiriyagama, and Kekirawa.
