COLOMBO (News 1st) - Police stated that islandwide operations from 6 am yesterday to 6 am today led to the arrest of 274 drivers under the influence. Islandwide operation to arrest drivers under the influence commenced on July 5th. A total of 2037 arrests have been made in the past five days.
The operation to arrest drivers under influence is still in effect.
