Shop owner stabbed to death in Dehiwala

COLOMBO (News 1st) - A man who attempted to rob a shop which sells building material in Dehiwala had stabbed the 63-year-old owner to death last evening (June 24). Police said the owner was resting after lunch inside the shop and the robber who had entered it, stabbed him with a sharp weapon and fled the area. A police investigation is underway to locate and arrest the suspect.
