Three More Arrested for Aiding and Abetting Shooting of 16-Year-Old Girl in Dehiwala

COLOMBO (News 1st); Three suspects have been arrested for aiding and abetting the shooting of a 16-year-old girl opposite a house in Bodhiyawatta, Dehiwala.

Police say that the Special Task Force (STF) arrested the suspects during raids conducted in Dematagoda and Wellampitiya. 

The arrested individuals, aged 27, 32, and 35, are residents of Colombo 09 and Colombo 12.

The shooting took place on December 30th, when two unidentified gunmen arriving on a motorcycle opened fire on the girl.

Police noted that four other suspects had previously been arrested in connection with this incident.
