Lasith Malinga to arrive in Sri Lanka today

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Lasith Malinga is scheduled to arrive in Sri Lanka today (June 11) following the World Cup match against Bangladesh to attend the funeral of his mother-in-law. The player is expected to join the team, before the team’s next World Cup game, which will be played against Australia on June 15th, 2019. The remains of late Mrs Kanthi Perera lie at the Barney Raymond Funeral Home at Colombo 08 and the final rites will take place on Thursday, June 13th at the Borella Cemetery.
