Homicide in Chilaw

COLOMBO (News 1st) - A 28-year-old resident of Bangadeniya has been killed following an attack with a sharp weapon in the Diganwewa, Chilaw.
Police stated the homicide was a result of an altercation that heightened over a domestic dispute. The victim succumbed to injuries following hospitalization at Chilaw hospital.
The perpetrator has been identified but he is reported to have fled the area.
