Restriction on entering and leaving airport eased

Colombo (News 1st): The restrictions imposed on entering and leaving airports have been eased. Sri Lanka Air Force spokesperson Group Captain Gihan Seneviratne said this measure was taken following complaints made by passengers who claim they were compelled to walk a long way to various points with their luggage. As of midnight yesterday (May 8), passengers can enter the departure and arrival areas in their vehicles or rental cars.
