Man arrested with 160 turtle eggs

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The Police arrested a man in Midigama, Weligama with 160 turtle eggs. The suspect had attempted to sell the eggs. The Midigama police suspect that the eggs were being taken to be sold to foreign nationals. The suspect is currently detained by the Midigama police and is due to be produced before the Matara Magistrate's court today (February 11).
